First Fridays Yoga
Slow Flow Yoga is a meditative flow that practices slowing down by using a slow steady breath, holding postures, transitioning smoothly, and opening gently and mindfully with the ability to move deeper into one's body and self.
Meditation provides you with gently guided breathing and visualization techniques for removal of deep rooted accrued stress and tension in the body that you can practice on your own outside of class. Learn to calm your nervous system, restore balance to the mind, and let go of being emotionally reactive to external situations. These tools and techniques will restore, rejuvenate, and re-energize you, giving you a greater sense of peace and calm to navigate your hectic lifestyle.
This gentle class is for all levels - no prior yoga experience is needed!
